Ms. Niruni De Silva is a highly qualified piano instructor with extensive experience in music education. She has completed piano performance and theory up to Grade 8 with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and holds a National Diploma in Teaching Western Music, achieving Rank 1. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Education (General), further enhancing her expertise in teaching.

Since 2015, Ms. De Silva has been dedicated to teaching Western music piano, previously serving as a music teacher at Ananda College. Currently, she is a government-appointed music teacher at Sacred Heart Convent in Galle, where she continues to inspire and nurture her students’ musical talents.

In 2022, Ms. De Silva was appointed to the panel of examiners for the GCE O/L exams, demonstrating her commitment to educational standards and assessment in music. She initially joined Amarillo in 2015, where she taught for three years, and has recently rejoined the institute to continue her rewarding teaching career. With her strong educational background and passion for music, Ms. De Silva is dedicated to fostering a love for piano in her students.
