Shanaka Gamage is an accomplished and versatile musician, known for his expertise across multiple instruments, including guitar, piano, bass guitar, drums, and vocals.

He has gained recognition as a classical guitarist, having achieved Grade 7 certification from Trinity College London, and performs as a solo classical artist.

Shanaka’s innovative spirit shines through “Classiflamenca,” Sri Lanka’s pioneering classical and flamenco guitar duet.

Adding to his diverse portfolio, Shanaka leads "Original Pitch," a four-piece English commercial music project that brings together two guitar/vocalists, a female vocalist, and a cajon player.

His classical training extends to the piano, where he holds a Grade 5 from the Royal Schools of Music (London), along with a Grade 7 in music theory from Trinity College London.

Professionally, Shanaka works as a sound engineer for 3-4 piece bands, blending his technical skills with his artistic vision. As an educator, he offers lessons in classical, rock, and pop guitar, teaches piano and keyboard, and provides bass guitar instruction for students from beginner to advanced levels.
