Yamuna Wimalasena
Ms. Yamuna Wimalasena is an accomplished voice instructor with a rich background in music education and performance. A former student of the Kemadasa Foundation, she has cultivated her vocal talents through rigorous training and performance opportunities. Ms. Wimalasena’s journey includes significant experience as a vocal trainer at Shelidian International School, where she nurtured the voices of young singers and helped them develop their skills.
Her musical journey took her to Australia, where she was both a student and a soprano singer in the Excelsis choir team. This experience enriched her understanding of vocal techniques and choral performance, allowing her to gain a diverse perspective on music education and performance.
Currently, Ms. Wimalasena serves as a vocal instructor at Amarillo, where she passionately shares her love for music with aspiring vocalists. Her expertise, combined with a nurturing teaching style, creates an inspiring environment for students to explore their vocal abilities and build their confidence as performers.
